Meet the team
Travis Whelan
Travis has over a decade of experience in the finance industry, having started his career at Westpac in 2010.
At Westpac he managed clients across numerous industries, requiring him to understand their cash flow requirements and challenges, and ensure his advice was tailored to their unique situation.
Travis is passionate about assisting small businesses to thrive and succeed in their dreams. He knows that every great idea starts as a seed. A seed which, with the right nurturing, advice, support and dedication, allows your idea to grow into what it is meant to be.
As a father of two, Travis also understands how nuanced and unpredictable life can be, and how precious time is. For that reason, he wants to help people spend less time on complex finance matters, and more time enjoying the best parts of life.
Kirsty Whelan
Kirsty started the business with Travis in 2022 after having taken 10 years out of the workforce having their 2 kids, Chloe & Zac.
She is new to the industry, having previously worked in health, but she has spent countless hours discussing finance with Travis throughout his tenure in the industry. These conversations have allowed her to seamlessly step into the business in an admin capacity, assisting Travis with many of the essential tasks behind the scenes.
You may never hear from Kirsty, but rest assured that she is there, working tirelessly to ensure that every client receives a smooth experience with Seeder Finance.
